BBMP Citizen Service Center
Bruhat Bangaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has Citizen Service Center (CSC) to provide its citizen various services like pay their property tax, obtains various certificates such as birth certificate, death certificates, and accepts application for Registration, transfer and modification of Khata, sanctions building plans and also accepts requests, complaints and suggestions from citizen of Bangalore on BBMP services.

BBMP is adding six more center two each in east, west and south zones. The new citizen centers are

Services Offered
Citizen Service Center offers services for citizen of Bangalore on behalf of BBMP and main services are the following.
- Helps in payment of bills such as BWSSB water bill and Electricity bills (BESCOM). It also accepts applications for new connection and statement accounts, grievance redressal.
- Issue of certificates such as birth certificate, death certificate, Khata certificate for property owners, accepts property tax payments and provides stamps papers.
- Service on behalf of RTO such as Renewal of Learners license, road tax payment, issue of B-extract for vehicles.
- Collection of taxes such as Karnataka Sales Tax (KST) or Central Sales Tax (CST) and entry tax.
- Application for passport and registration for new passport can be available from Citizen Service Center.
- Collects fines for traffic violations
The Citizen’s Service Centres are open on all working days from 9 a.m. to 12.00 noon and 4 p.m. to 7.00 p.m,in two shifts.

Hi Sir,
People staying in Vidyaranyapura request,
Please let us know where to pay the property tax one who is staying in vidyaranyapura Blr-97. till now we are paying taxe’s to BDA no dew’s. now we are confused BDA Emp is telling that we are been appointed for BBMP and we are handling the same and pay the cash we will pay it for you and no one is holding the ID card to confirm need your advise and please provide us the BBMP account number so that the tax reaches to BBMP only.

sorry, ,may be my query was not clear.
paid on23march property tax for current year availing discount.but for next year i.e starting apr09, was told to pay in april only and wer not accepting for aprril., unlike other centers
who accepted paymnts for current year and next year.
hence my query is ill waht date can we pay next tax due eff apr to avail discount

Thanks for your help. I had approached citizen center as well as BBMP over the phone. No one was able to give an answer. So much for citizen friendliness from BBMP.

On checking with Kammagondanahalli – Sir M Vishwarayya Layout, Ulal does not come within their purview. The gave me BDA main office number. The clerk there informed me (uncertainly) that it was not yet handed over to BBMP and so I should wait for notice.

It is immaterial, whether the BDA has handed over the Lay out to BBMP or not since the Lay out comes with in the jurisdiction of BBMP you have to approach the Jurisdictional i.e Ward Revenue Officer and obtain the Green Form, for payment of Tax and accordingly pay the Tax to BBMP, it is thereafter on the basis of your sale deed that the BBMP would transfer the khata in your name

If your lost your property tax paid receiopt, carry your sale deed and any other previous tax paid receipt, they will receive the tax for the year 2009-2010

My father expired on 29.6.2009 at BEML Township (BEML Quaters,) We have still not recevied the death certificate till date. The BBMP department do not know which ward this township belongs to. We have run around many places, like Kasturinagar, KR Puram, Mahadevapura, Marthahalli, Kamraj Road, and Near Domlur. All of them informed us that this does not belong to their ward. Finally the documents was available at Kamraj Road. The person handed over all the copies to us and informed us to make the certificate at Utility building. We had even been to this office and they did not know which ward we belong to.
Kindly help me in this regard to get the death certificate of my father and what is the ward no for this area.
