
Alpine Park is a community of 120 flats. Its an active community well run by its residents and now they are coming even closer by the use of technology.
Alpine park association adopted CommonFloor and has seen instantaneous results in community participation, interaction and information exchange. The residents have also benefited from the prompt information sent to them by the committee which has been a boon in keeping their life hassle free in their homes.
We asked Mr.Ramesh Ramani, Committee member Alpine Park Owners Association on his views about commonfloor and following is what he had to say:
“Common floor is an amazing service, we have been using E-groups for communication. we always felt E-groups was not enough to holistically manage apartment. We feel Common floor is one point solution for any residence community. the feature and options are well thought and thoroughly implemented.
We have started using commonfloor as communication medium. Many of our residence are too busy and we where not able to have focused discussion in our meeting. In commonfloor we are able to post discussion and get peoples opinion and address many of there concerns in the discussion forum, so that we don’t spend our precious time in discussing the same topics in our meetings.
We have been using SMS services extensively, any issue in apartment, we have been sending mass SMS to all our members.
We have also started using the online issue tracking tool in commonfloor.”

“Mass SMS service was great idea.
We had our generator failure and once we have an issue in getting water supplies. We used SMS service and informed the residence on time which helped many of our residence to plan their day better.
Many of the articles published in commonfloor are eye openers for members, There was an article on fire safety. And there was a huge discussion on the same in commonfloor. And we have installed more fire safety equipments in apartment and arrange a training program to help people to understand how to re-act when there is a fire accident”
