SIr, There is an apartment consisits of 5 floor with 89 apartments in AP. In terrace the builder has constructed another 12 flats consists of 10 duplexes from 5th floor to terrace and 2 indivudial flats in terrace. The builder says that in the registration of the flat it is mentioned that the terrace rights are reserved to builder. In this circumastance can the flat owners have any right on terrace? Please let us update regarding terrace rights in a apartment

I am from Mahaver Gardenia Apartments, Kumaraswamy layout. I would like to know that in a Resident welfare Association, if a person owns more than one flat, will he get more voting power. Is the number of votes decided by number of owners are number of units owned? If it is a Apartment owner’s association will it make a difference? Please enlighten.

Depends on the Byelaws of your apartment. As per KAOA 1972, he should get more votes.

I am planning to buy an apartment which is very near to lake. The builder told me that NOC from the Lake Development Authority is not required as the distance between lake & apartment is 100 feet.
Please advice, how much distance should be there between lake and apartment.?
